About usLÄRMKONTOR GmbH is a consulting office specialising in all matters related to noise protection since 1991. We work on projects within a European context as well as on a national or regional level. The services offered by our team range from classic engineering tasks within the field of noise protection to multi-media processing of environmental issues, but also to agency services such as research and development. At LÄRMKONTOR GmbH it is our policy to offer practical solutions to various problems. In doing so, we sometimes choose to take the unconventional route, but we also never lose sight of the cost-benefit ratios involved. In addition, our experience in interdisciplinary project work has taught us that viewing “noise” as an isolated factor is insufficient when faced with the complex cause-and-effect relationships we encounter in real life. Therefore, depending on the requirements, we also look at traffic-related air pollutants, dust exposure and odors in our expert reports and feasibility studies. At LÄRMKONTOR GmbH we are committed to making the entire scope of possibilities and approaches of noise protection “transparent and easy to grasp”. We present our scientific findings on the protection from noise and other environmental impacts in a clear and comprehensible fashion and make them available to the public in brochures, at exhibitions, conferences and through various media formats. LÄRMKONTOR GmbH is a well-established member of national as well as international networks. These combine an extensive selection of areas of expertise: Urban sociology, regional analytics, development of application-oriented software and measuring methods, urban and traffic planning as well as legal sciences, housing industry and urban economics.
